1. Agreement to the License
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using 2D Lip Sync Studio software, you agree to this Software License Agreement.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the software.
2. License Grant
Subject to this Agreement and any purchase terms shown when you obtain the software, 2D Lip Sync Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software for lawful creative work.
Unless different terms are expressly shown at the time of purchase, the standard license is granted to one user and permits installation and use on up to two computers owned or controlled by that user. The license is a one-time purchase rather than a recurring subscription.
3. Permitted Uses
Unless a different license tier or purchase term states otherwise, you may use 2D Lip Sync Studio for lawful:
- Personal creative projects
- Educational work
- Independent animation
- Client or commissioned work
- Commercial creative projects
- Internal studio or business projects
Your right to use your own finished animations, artwork, audio, and other original project output is not transferred to 2D Lip Sync Studio merely because the software was used to create or edit it.
4. Your Artwork, Audio, and Project Files
You retain ownership of original artwork, audio, scripts, character designs, custom mouth images, project files, and other content that you create or lawfully provide to the software.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to use any third-party artwork, audio, voices, fonts, characters, or other material included in your projects.
5. Custom Mouth Artwork
You may import your own mouth-shape artwork for use with 2D Lip Sync Studio.
The software license does not give 2D Lip Sync Studio ownership of custom mouth artwork that you created independently or otherwise have the right to use.
6. Restrictions
Unless expressly permitted by law or by written permission from 2D Lip Sync Studio, you may not:
- Sell, sublicense, rent, lease, distribute, or give copies of the software to others.
- Share a license key, activation credential, download entitlement, or account in violation of the applicable purchase terms.
- Remove or alter copyright, trademark, ownership, or license notices.
- Use the software to create or distribute malware or to engage in unlawful activity.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Circumvent technical measures intended to control licensing, activation, or access.
- Redistribute the software as part of another product without written permission.
7. Ownership of the Software
2D Lip Sync Studio is licensed, not sold. This Agreement gives you permission to use the software; it does not transfer ownership of the software, source code, branding, documentation, or other proprietary materials.
All rights not expressly granted under this Agreement are reserved.
8. Copies and Backups
You may make reasonable backup copies of software installers, project files, or related materials solely for your own lawful use, subject to the applicable license and purchase terms.
Backup copies may not be distributed to others.
9. Updates and Upgrades
Updates, bug fixes, upgrades, or new versions may be offered from time to time.
Whether updates are included, optional, paid, or subject to additional terms will depend on the purchase terms or license plan in effect at the time they are offered.
10. Activation, Accounts, and License Verification
2D Lip Sync Studio may introduce license keys, activation, account-based access, or other methods of verifying authorized use.
If such features are introduced, they must be used in accordance with the applicable purchase terms and the Privacy Policy.
11. Third-Party Components
The software may include or rely on third-party libraries, codecs, frameworks, models, or other components that are subject to their own licenses.
Where required, applicable third-party notices or license terms may be provided with the software or its documentation.
12. Support
Support may be provided through tutorials, documentation, email, the 2D Lip Sync Studio Community, or other channels.
Support availability and response times are not guaranteed unless a specific support plan or purchase term states otherwise.
13. Termination
Your license may terminate if you materially violate this Agreement and fail to correct the violation where correction is reasonably possible.
Upon termination, you must stop using the software and delete unauthorized copies, subject to any rights that applicable law does not permit to be terminated.
14. Software Availability
2D Lip Sync Studio may change, improve, update, or discontinue software features over time. Compatibility with every device, operating-system version, animation application, audio format, or third-party workflow is not guaranteed.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the software is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every workflow or purpose.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes warranties, consumer guarantees, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, 2D Lip Sync Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of or inability to use the software.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of project files, custom artwork, audio, and other important data.
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability where applicable law does not permit such a limitation.
17. Compliance With Law
You agree to use the software in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including laws concerning intellectual property, privacy, export controls, and prohibited uses.
18. Transfer of the License
The license may not be transferred, assigned, resold, or sublicensed unless the purchase terms expressly allow it or 2D Lip Sync Studio gives written permission.
19. Changes to This Agreement
This Agreement may be updated for future versions, license models, activation systems, legal requirements, or substantial software changes.
Where appropriate, revised license terms may apply to future downloads, updates, upgrades, or purchases. The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
20. Relationship to Other Terms
Use of the website is also subject to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
If specific purchase terms or a license tier conflict with this general License Agreement on a matter such as license duration, number of users, or permitted installations, the more specific purchase or license terms control for that matter.
21. Governing Law
This Agreement is subject to applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
A more specific governing-law or dispute-resolution provision may be added if appropriate when the business entity and governing jurisdiction are finalized.
